My name is Christine Amin and I’m currently studying MSc Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health at University of Bristol.

I participated in Game Changers, an award winning University of Bristol programme that provides training and volunteering opportunities to students interested in sports and exercise. Once students have attended training workshops to develop their teamwork and communication skills, they organise sports events and coaching for young people in the local area.

The teamwork and communication workshops helped me to develop my communication skills in sports, I learnt how to be proactive and understanding when working with young people. I also learnt that trust and delegation are key elements of effective teamwork. I had the opportunity to participate in sports activities with students from various majors and backgrounds which made it fun and interesting. My experience lead me to complete the Bristol PLUS Award.
