Sustainable development consultancy

UWE Bristol MSc Sustainable Development in Practice and MSc Environmental Management students undertake a 30-day project on a quasi-consultancy basis. These students can offer a wide range of skills to businesses, research organisations or voluntary and third sector organisations.

Students can undertake tasks such as:

  • literature reviews to support the writing of policy documents and publications
  • supply chain analysis
  • market research
  • compilation of data bases and directories
  • production of workshop materials
  • support with the development of communications campaigns
  • support with event management and stakeholder engagement
  • spatial analyses using Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

Projects usually take place between January and July, and can be arranged as part-time or full-time. To run in the current academic year, please get in touch before March. For more information, contact Sarah.Hills@uwe.ac.uk
